4 tips for efficient and reliable music making on brass and woodwind instruments
My 4 tips for efficient and reliable music making on brass and woodwind instruments (in chronological manner):
1. Listen (don't go on trying to play the music if you haven't listened to it enough to memorise it).
2. Learn to whistle/sing the melody. It doesn't have to be pretty, but it has to be correct (on pitch and rhythmically correct)
3. Buzz it on a mouthpiece (for brass only)
4. Play it and handle all technical aspects of playing the music.
